Managing Director - W. Michael Muggridge

Mike Muggridge joined the Hathaway team in 1999 as a Construction Division Manager. In 2004, after the successful completion of over 3,500 units with a construction volume of over $160 million, he accepted the reigns as President of Hathaway. Mike brings over thirty years of development and construction experience in high-rise, single- and multi-family residential, commercial and industrial construction. With his leadership, innovative style and commitment to project development, Hathaway has sustained significant growth and recognition as one of the southeastern region’s leading development and construction companies. Along with the growth of Hathaway, Mike also had a leading roll in the creation of several other Hathaway entities including Provence Real Estate, a property management company, as well as Compass Supply, the primary supply company for Hathaway Construction Services. Mike is also a managing partner for each of these sister companies and involved in their day to day operations.

After earning his B.S. in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1979, Mike began his career at the United Parcel Service as a Project Engineer and Architect. At UPS, he was responsible for the design and construction of several United Parcel Service facilities in the Southeastern United States. In 1984, Mike joined the Landmarks Group as a Project Manager, where he oversaw the construction of the award winning $32 million office complex, Concourse Two, in the center of the Perimeter Business District. In 1986, he joined Weeks Corporation where he took on the title as Senior Vice President of Development. At Weeks, he was responsible for the management of design and development for over 6 million square feet of low rise office, industrial and multi-use projects. During his thirty year career, he has successfully delivered projects through various methods of construction management and product management. In the past 12 years Mike has facilitated the development and general construction of over 8,200 units. Mike is a member of the National Multi-Family Housing Council, Atlanta Apartment Association, National Apartment Association and the International Code Council. Mike is also the Qualifying Agent for Hathaway's General Contracting Licenses in GA, MS, AL, LA, FL, TN, CO, NC and SC.

Development Manager - Nick Hathaway

Nick Hathaway joined Hathaway Development Partners in 2007 after working in multi-family brokerage for four years. During that time he was responsible for underwriting, market analysis and financial analysis, within a team that focused on institutional grade multi-family transactions at Marcus and Millichap. Nick then went on to close approximately $80M worth of multi-family assets as a standalone agent. Nick has also represented principals in land acquisitions as well. Nick Hathaway attended NYU and Kennesaw State University with a focus on Business Management and Economics.

Development Manager/Analyst - Thomas Gunter

Thomas joined Hathaway Development Partners as the Development Manager/Analyst in the spring of 2011. Prior to joining Hathaway, Thomas was a Senior Associate with Silverpeak Real Estate Partners where he spent 3 years involved in the asset management of Lehman Brothers Real Estate Private Equity Fund investments. Prior to joining Silverpeak, Thomas was a Transaction Analyst with the mortgage banking firm of IRE Capital Advisors in Atlanta where he was involved in closing over $500 million in transactions. In addition, Thomas held several positions with Turner Broadcasting System in the area of corporate accounting and finance. Thomas' experience in commercial real estate began in 2003 and he holds a BA in Finance from University of Georgia and an MBA from Georgia State University.
